Plans and support
What the Free, Starter, Pro and Studio plans include, how early access works, how to set up a team, and how to contact support.
Stori3D has four plans: Free, Starter, Pro and Studio. During early access, every feature is free for everyone, so you can try all of it before choosing a plan.
Early access
While Stori3D is in early access, every feature is open on every account. Your account menu says Early access and "Every feature is included for now". The prices on the pricing page are what paid plans will cost when they start, and you'll be told well in advance. Help → Plans & pricing opens the pricing page.
What each plan includes
Free is for learning Stori3D and small projects:
- every modelling tool: walls, rooms, roofs, stairs, doors and windows
- plans, elevations and sections
- the asset library of models, materials and skies
- 3 cloud projects, on any device
- view-only share links
- walking through in the browser, VR and AR
- exports to glTF, OBJ, STL and images
Starter adds, for presenting to clients now and then:
- 10 cloud projects, with 20 named versions each
- client review links, where clients pin comments in the model
- walkthrough tours, shared as a video-style player
Pro adds, for presenting every week:
- unlimited cloud projects and version history
- markup on saved views
- IFC import and export, and schedules to Excel
- AI agents (Claude, Codex, Cursor and others) through MCP
- share links without the "Made with Stori3D" mark
Studio is Pro for a practice, billed once. It includes two named editors, with more at a price per editor, plus team spaces with shared projects, roles and invitations, seeing who's in a project, and team notes pinned in the model.
Your clients never need an account or a plan. View-only links, tours and review links open for anyone with the link. If you stop paying, your account moves to Free: you keep your projects and can still open, view and export them all.
Set up a team
Teams are shared spaces for a practice. Each team has its own projects, its own library and its own members.
- Open Projects in the side rail.
- Click the panel's title (My projects) and choose New team….
- Enter a Team name and click Create team.
To invite people, pick the team in the same menu, then choose Team settings…. Type an Email address, pick a Role and click Invite. The invitation is emailed with a join link, and you can also Copy invite link to send it yourself. The person accepts it when they sign in with that email address.
There are three roles:
- Member: opens, edits and creates the team's projects, renames any of them, and deletes or moves out their own.
- Admin: also invites people, changes roles, removes members and deletes any project.
- Owner: also manages admins and ownership, and can delete the team once it has no projects.
To move a project into a team, or back to your own space, choose Move to from the project's menu. Its version history, comments and share links go with it. To share furniture with the team, see Furniture and the library.
